Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This position involves conducting quality assurance checks, performing audits, and utilizing various inspection tools and systems to maintain compliance with industry regulations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Utilize tools such as calipers and coordinate measuring machines to measure product dimensions accurately.
- Implement and maintain quality management systems, including CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Perform quality audits and document findings for continuous improvement initiatives.
- Analyze data collected from inspections and research to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Operate vision inspection systems to detect defects or inconsistencies in products.
- Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and audits for compliance purposes.
Requirements
- Proven experience in quality assurance or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
- Familiarity with Calypso software for measurement analysis is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
- Experience with vision inspection systems and other quality inspection tools.
- Knowledge of CGMP regulations and their application in a production setting.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration across departments.
