Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing control systems for various applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in automation and controls, with a focus on vision inspection systems and mechanical knowledge. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that projects meet technical specifications and are delivered on time.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- PLC Programming
- Collaborate with engineering teams to create schematics and layouts using AutoCAD for control system implementations.
- Implement vision inspection systems to enhance quality control processes.
- Develop firmware for embedded systems and support the integration of System on Chip (SoC) technologies.
- Utilize scripting languages to automate processes and improve system efficiency.
- Conduct testing and troubleshooting of control systems, including FPGA configurations and surface mount technology components.
- Ensure compliance with National Electrical Code (NEC) standards throughout all projects.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and other team members as needed.
Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in controls engineering with a strong emphasis on vision inspection systems.
- Proficiency in reading and creating schematics, as well as using AutoCAD for design purposes.
- Solid mechanical knowledge related to automation equipment and processes.
- Experience with System on Chip (SoC) technologies, firmware development, scripting languages, FPGA programming, and surface mount technology is highly desirable.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team environment.

Pay: $115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
