Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by handling materials, managing inventory, and ensuring that products are shipped and received accurately. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and adherence to OSHA guidelines while working with various warehouse equipment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials from trucks and containers, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Utilize RF scanners for accurate tracking of inventory within the warehouse.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes, including verifying shipments against packing lists.
• Operate warehouse management systems to maintain accurate inventory records.
• Safely operate cherry pickers and pallet jacks to move materials throughout the facility.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse layout for optimal efficiency.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or materials handling role is preferred.
• Familiarity with loading and unloading procedures, shipping, and receiving processes.
• Experience operating RF scanners and warehouse management systems is a plus.
• Ability to operate cherry pickers, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Ability to lift heavy materials (up to 50 pounds) as required by the job.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards is highly desirable.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $18.50 per hour
